Rich sauce containing a generous amount of cheese turns Malony into an Italian dish! Using Malony is an easy and effective way to reduce caloric intake!

Ingredients (1 servings)

50g/1.8oz Malony
30g/1.1oz bacon
1 egg yolk
15g/0.5oz grated cheese
60g/2.1oz fresh cream
pinch of salt(1g/0.04oz)
Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons water used for boiling Malony

Directions

1. Boil Malony for 4 minutes to a texture a little harder than usual, put it in a colander, and drain off the water, retaining 2 tablespoons of the water for use in step 4.
2. Cut the bacon into 7mm/0.3in wide strips.
3. Pour olive oil into a frying pan and fry the bacon.
4. Put the egg yolk, grated cheese, fresh cream, salt, bacon and water used for boiling the Malony into a bowl and mix them well. Add Malony and toss it with the sauce.
5. Place the mixture in a serving dish and sprinkle with the pepper.

* If it is difficult to untangle the Malony, add the water used for boiling it.
* You can also use a commercially-available Carbonara sauce.
